Why this blog?
To contribute towards checks and balances in the new government following the vast vacuum created by the change of administration. We need criticism and different views to flourish our young democracy. Hence, this blog was launched on 12th November 2008.

Why did you choose "oppose anni"?
We have nothing against Anni or anyone else. We always think he can do a better job. We just chose a weird name for promotional purpose and hope to move onto something later on.

Who are you?
We are Maldivians from the online community and we feel we have a duty towards making our nation a better place for everyone. We encourage our writers to use their names at a later stage if not in the beginning.

Can I contribute articles?

this website is coool. can you guys have a gossip columns here? you can just say "gossips" so it's separated from the contents. nowadays we dont hear anything anywhere, not even on sappe's do. i want to know where yameen is? where is munnavaru? where are all the guys? are they still in male'? thanks
