We have hoped for a star cabinet with capable administrators. But we see today are slow beaucrats like Dr Aminth Jameel and Dr Musthafa; and political appointees with lots of conflict of interest. Mr Buruma Gasim, Mr Sawad, Dr Didi, Dr Jameel are there for nothing but political reasons. Will they and others resign on their when they could not deliver or blame someone else as Mr Buruma Gasim did recently at the last minute after duping the parliament over overly deficient budget?
Mr President, you don't have to do this. They did not vote you but for themselves. Perhaps they campaigned for you for this in return. However we voted you into office for real change. We wanted a leadership change. We wanted to get a better life -- a better Maldives. We wanted basic needs at affordable rates. We know Maldives has the highest GDP in the region but only a few enjoys the benefits of it.
Mr President, do promise us that you will sack those who cannot show results in 100 days in the jobs, if they did not resign on their own. We have voted you because you wanted to see results and that you deliver your promises, not another political ordeal. We have had enough of political ordeals and deception in the name of reform in the past 30 years.

maumoon created ministries for his cronies. ministry of science n technology for his nephew midhath. today we see a ministry created for new maldives dr jameel.

Maumoon may have created Ministries for his cronies, I will not debate that issue. However the example you have chosen is poor.
First of all Midhath is not a crony of Maumoon. Yes he is Maumoon's relative (I am sure he can't help that) but knowing him personally, I also know that he stands for what is right. Along with me there may be hundred who read this blog who were taught by him in Majeediyya, and they will know what he stands for.
The Minsitry you have referred and Midhath being appointed as the Minister is the reason why we are enjoying one of the cheapest rates in the world. Do you really believe that Dhiraagu which had been sqeezing us dry would voluntarily reduce rates? Midhath single handedly challenged the agreement with Dhiraagu, got legal advice and opened the door for competition.
Crticise as much as you want, but have the decency to acknowledge the good work done by a person.
